Custom Laminated Wood Stocks and Blanks

I started laminating my own hardwood and carbon fiber blanks in 2007 when I wanted to make a benchrest stock for my Marlin 980S and do something “different.” It all starts with wood, epoxy, and carbon fiber fabric and ends up as a very strong and stable blank. They can be just as functional as they are attractive. I have used a wide variety of domestic and exotic woods in my blanks and in different combinations you will end up with a very unique stock. Carbon fiber can be laminated in the seams for extra strength and stability with minimal added weight.

I have small inventory of hardwoods on hand, otherwise I have good sources for premium quality woods (individually quoted) and can also laminate wood sent to me. Please contact me at evantkoch@gmail.com if you’re interested in a custom laminate blank.

Here are some photos of blanks I’ve made and the stocks they became.

Hello, my name is Steven Murphy. I’ve built rifle stocks in the past and I’m going to start building them once again as time allows. I was looking at your Laminated blanks that you have on Bench Rest Central. Do you still have any of these or others avilable at this time, as I’m looking to build myself a couple of Bench Rest Stocks.

Please let me know what you have for blanks, dementions and cost. I live in Yuba City, CA. 95993.

Merry X-Mas, and a Happy New Year

Do you make stocks for the T/C Icon?

      Pat,

No, I don’t make stocks for Icons. What I can do is make you a custom blank to send to another stockmaker for an Icon stock, but I can’t make stocks for Icons.

      Thanks!
